Title: tired of slush
Post by: g on February 13, 2010, 10:20:59 PM
Getting tired of fishing in the slush. Wish the snow would melt & refreeze but that doesn't look like that's going to happen. Still caught 1 19.5" saugeye at dunns today. Be careful cause the snow is degrading the ice.  g

Heard that, it was that way for me Friday, only I struggled to find fish of any size.  If this continues this way, i don't know how long we'll have safe ice.  We need a rain followed by a cold snap to resurrect the ice, otherwise, I've got a month to get my bass boat ready for the Good Friday Open bass tournament.  I'm not ready for that.  I want ice thru at least the first week of March!!
