Title: Very Short Trip Today

I drove over to meet Firefish at Indian today. We met at Le Van's bait store. Purchase my bait and propoane and off we went.

We went to BlackHawk which i have never fished before. Dan entered the lake off of the Docs on the left. I was walking towards the docks not knowing i was walking on the sea wall because of the snow drift. Took one step and fell off the wall. Left leg went through up to my waist. No change of cloths so i went back to the truck and drove home. Of course Dan hammered them.

Yes it woke me up and also realized i did not have my spikes on my neck. Complacency is what kills. Please be very carefull!

What a waste.

Thanks for sharing though, because now nobody has an excuse for not having a dry change of clothes with them all the time.

You'll get them next time.

I saw where you went in today when I was there. That Seawall is up high- that had to of hurt.  :o

That's no fun, I've had a day or 2 end that way.  Once forgot my dry clothes, second time remembered the clothes, but had no dry boots.  Gotta love it when that happens.  Glad you didn't get hurt.

walking off dunns last week after the snow,stepped through a hole coverer with 6in. of snow. left leg went through to my crotch too. good thing i was done fishing. still no fun!

The day we were all together up at LI there was a giant hole next to where Chris was fishing, could imagine that would have been a bad one to step in if it was snow covered.
