Title: No Luck at Alum
Post by: davidhoheisel on March 14, 2010, 10:48:40 PM
I went over to Alum to fish off of the docks. When i got there the water was so high that i could not get on the docks. the ramps to the docks were flooded. I went below the dam and threw a rogue and a twister with no luck.
Maybe next time.
I heard they are letting water over the dam at hoover. This can make the hole down stream very productive. You need waders to get to the spot.

No luck yesterday for me either. At least got to shake the boat down. Hoping to get out again on Friday. 3 days in a row over 60 will help water temps, yesterday afternoon water only 41.8. Still a little cold. It should be in the upper 40's by Friday and bass should be moving around by then.
