im planning a trip to long island thurs. ive only fished moundwood for saugeye, herd the gold and orange vibe was the bait to use, and it worked, cauaght one, i was woundering though what is the prefered lure, color and size i should start out with for panfish, if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

I always had good luck with a red #12 jigs tiped with 2 spikes for panfish.

I fish blackhawk alot and have real good luck with a glow tear drop and wax worm gills love them
