Title: Getting the fever
Post by: crv423 on November 11, 2010, 06:21:25 PM
Man am I getting the hard water fever, I put my tackle box together tonight, and can't walk into a sporting goods store without buying something for ice fishing. I'm hoping it comes sooner than later, less than 2 months. I've herd different reports, some say its going to be cold with little precip and others say above normal temps. I've watched just about every you tube video on ice fishing on the net. Anyone else got the fever?

It really hit me last weekend when i was at Alum and there was ice freezing to my rod tip. It will be here before we know it.
This is a great time to get your ice gear out and get on the docks at the marina's. The fish are moving back into the creeks where these docks are located.

I was getting all worked up when that happened, especially when the spring bobber got plugged!

It was nice having the warm weather this week for work but I'm ready for the cold weather. I pulled all of my ice fishing gear and started going thru it. I'm working on making a bunch of pinmins for this season. I've got the itch bad. Bring on the ice.
