Title: Hot perch lake?
Post by: crv423 on December 13, 2010, 07:40:43 AM
I would like to fish a lake in Ohio that has some killer perch fishing, and don't know where to go. I've caught some nice ones at Indian, but it seems like you catch them there when you're fishing for something else and they're hard to target. Anyone got any suggestions on what lake to fish?

I hear Willard Reservoir produces alot of perch. I have never ice fished but I have heard of people doing well on the ice for perch.

Willard takes a long time before it freezes. It will freeze about the same time Erie freezes. It is over 40 ft. deep in spots and does give up it's share of decent size perch along with a few walleye.
