Post by: wapak ice dawg on December 14, 2010, 04:03:31 PM: Okay, I did a little research on the net and found some post on the new channel that was cut this year. The name of the channel is called Longview Cove, 16million gallons of water was pumped into the 11 acre area, they created 52 lots and 25 waterfalls will separate the lots, it will have individual beaches for the lake and will have an island reachable by boat only, the island will have a gazebo and a beach.Longview is located on the east side of O'conners Landind. Fellow icefisherman it wont be long and we wont have many places to access the lake to fish. I started icefishing in the early 80's to the late 70's and can remember going out on the lake and not see 1 person.
