Awsome pics. Wont be long until hes going out with you. Looks like he has already figured out how to jig. I have a 20 month old son also and I cant wait to get him out there.

A legend in the making! I think that's how Dave Genz got his start.
My daughter likes when I set mine up in the yard for snowball fights. She knows it's for fishing though, and she really wants to go out this year. Last year was her first ice adventure and now she kinda knows what to expect.
I would imagine this little guy will be out there challenging Dave by the time he's 5 years old, and Dan and CRV when he's somewhere around 10!

As a father of 3 girls who love to icefish that brings back some good memories , it doesn't get any better when you take a kid fishing. You have to remember though when you 1st take them out only plan on fishing about an hour, I always took them to a local pond , set up the Coleman stove , fix them breakfast, hot chocolate, set up the underwater camera , fish a bit then they would be ready to go home. Great pics!!!!!!!

Haha I remember first taking my girls.. they are 4 now but I would be lucky to make it to the ice let alone out to even put up the shanty. But I can say now that they have grown up they love spending that quality time, and of course so do I. I take them on the boat when ever I can and cherrish every moment.
