Title: Panfish question....
Post by: Salmonid on December 22, 2010, 08:11:01 PM
Just curious as what everyone thinks about sunny vs overcast days for panfish, it really seems to me the brighter, sunnier the day, the better I do on panfish but wondered what folks thought from all of you with many more years under your belt then myself.

I might add the sunnier the day, the higher in the water column I seem to find the gills at least. Thoughts on that are welcome as well!

Usually the brighter the day the fish come off the bottom I have caught crappies a foot under the ice on sunny days and the opposite on dark days they get on the bottom. Bright days I like a white or gold dark days I like a orange or yellow.
