I went out on Thursday 23rd. It was a morning bite and CRV got a few small crappie.
The ice at the Galena ramp was a very clear 4 1/2 inches and i am sure it is thicker now. This is the ice by the rip rap off of the rd and not by the ramp itself.
There has been a lot of guy's fishing it the last few day's and they have been getting crappies and largemouth bass.

there is also 6-8 inches up by Howard Road with guys catching some gills and crappie
