Title: POND IS BREAKING UP!

There is a large depression in the middle of the quarry pond near my house. The edges are starting to splinter abd thr fissures are starting to separate. Approximately 3"-4" of standing water are weighing down the sheet.
Please be cautious on smaller bowl-shaped pits and ponds as there isn't much of anywhere for the water to run off from the ice surface.
