Title: Alum Sat.
Post by: crv423 on January 15, 2011, 03:10:05 PM
Fished an area I've always wanted to try threw the ice, marked a lot of fish I mean A LOT, but could only get a few to hit. Caught a few dink crappie and gills and managed to bring home an 11'' and 12'' crappie. We had a lot more that would follow but wouldn't hit. Blue and silver seemed to be the color and it really didn't matter what lure you used, got hits on a variety of lures. Was fishing 13 to 16 fow.

Glad to hear you got out there. Was the bite in the same general area as we spoke about?
Any eye bites?

yeah same area I was 3' from one of your holes, the farther north I went the more fish I marked, but couldn't get'em to bite.
