had a muskrat pop up in my hole the other day. i didn't think much about it. had it happen years ago, he came up between my feet, and startle me some. the other day, i was in my shack, and he came up in my deadstick hole, i didn't think much about it. fishing a farm pond, i pulled a 3" bluegill and had a 4-5 lb. bass come halfway out of the hole after it. anyone else?

Thats crazy! I would talk to the owner and see what he wants to do because those are bad news for ponds. They dig holes and causes leaks. Other than that, thats a great story to tell in the future.

i was in a public park lake. i don't know if they would let just anyone trap the rats, but i think the have a government guy trapping the beavers. has a sign CAUTION... BEAVER TRAPS IN USE. i think it would be hard to trap. there's no shallow water. 3 steps off the bank, and you're in 20 fow.
