Title: First 'ICE " Steelhead

Ok,, finally got my first steelhead thru the ice,,she was not a huge one but,was a lot more fun than the gills and bass I have been getting thru that 7 in hole,,,lol ,,,fished a marina near cleve,,,, had like 16 inches of safe ice,,got her on a stone fly and wax worm

good job those steelies are fun heh... im thinking of going to snug harbor sat and trying for some myself but not sure how the ice will be tomm, long ride to find soft ice.. those steelies just get better, would like to wade the rivers but there blown out right now i fear you see the snow is gone so its now in the rivers.

Great Job on the Steelie. I never caught on before even in soft water.
I would like to make a trip up there next year and try for them if you have room.

its not to late guys the spring has lots of steelies in the rivers pull on you waders and head for the water. if u need info on where to go hit up the odnr site go to steel head fishing.

Golden1....I know you fish "steel" softwater style..... so a "BIG CONGRAT'S" ON YOUR FIRST THRU HARDWATER...... Great job.....Glad your having a fun season.
