Title: Dale Hollow
Post by: TURKEY09 on February 16, 2011, 07:57:25 PM
Well I'm going to miss my spring trip to Dale Hollow for the first time in 7 years. If anybody ever gets a chance to go I would recommend it. The smallmouth fishing is out of this world.

I totally agree. I have fished the Hollow all my life. It is where my family is originally from. Once you learn the lake it can be a great place to fish. Not only for smallmouth has great walleye and panfish.

Good point on learning the lake. If you don't know much about fishing there it can humble you in a minute. I've been fishing it for 15 years now and I absolutely love it. I used to go twice a year spring and fall. We always night fished in the fall. What a beatiful lake. And untouched wilderness. I'm glad it hasn't turned into Cumberland which is way to busy and commercialized for me.
