on the way home saw a shanty on fire station side and a few guys bucket fishin on lakemore side hope you guys did good. with the cold blast maybe there will be good ice for just a bit longer :P be carefull ;D

...Never fished it; would like to give it a shot before the ice is gone. Can anyone post on recent fishing results from Springfield Lake?

Icebucket.....Think our favorite early ("no ice, no where else to fish") spot......OSP is dink city. This place beats even that, on catch ratio to keeper ratio.....

trust me can u spell stinko thats what i think of springfield i live here and i dont fish here anymore.... sorry just my opinion. :(

I drove by today and seen 2 guys halfway across the lake from 224 on the west side of the lake maybe 50 yards off shore. Ive never hard water fished it but have several times soft water. Never did all that great but did pull some decent crappies drifting minnows
