Title: Shallow Lake Erie Walleye
Post by: davidhoheisel on August 16, 2011, 02:24:19 PM
I was up at Lake Erie fishing for Largemouth in 4 foot of water casting to thr rip rap south of Marble Head when i caught 2 five pound Walleye.
One was on a crank bait and the other on a lipless crank bait.
I spoke with another team that was by us and they said they caught some walleye also. Sounds like there moving in shallow.
Maybe we can get a group and give it a try.

Alright sounds good. And no I do not they are there all the time don't ask me why, the reefs have resident shallow water eyes there also. I think they are more like snakes and go up to the shallows to almost "bake"
