Hey guys can you fill me in a little on this lake. What kind of clarity does this lake have. Weed growth, bait stuff like that.

The lake can get real muddy like any lake after rainfall. During ice time its pretty clear for an inland lake. As for weed growth goes there is not much. North of causeway is void of any dramatic depth changes or bottom contour. Pretty much shaped like a bowl , if you will. South end has a bunch of breaks and depth changes some being real sharp. My favorite lures for skeeter eyes are Vibes, small jigging spoons( pimples, kastmasters, buskshot spoons, etc. ) tipped w/ whole minnow or just the head. The key to having any measure of success on skeeters ice is staying mobile as it can change from day to day.
