I wanted to let you know why i choose Vexilar.

I use my Vex in the summer to fish off of my belly boat. I Velcro it to the belly boat.

Well, getting out of my belly boat i knocked it off and it went into the drink on two different occasions. The moisture screwed it up so i sent it back to their customer service department last Tuesday. It arrived on Thursday.

On Friday Pat in service called me. They had it fixed and ready to ship back to me. Cost $20 plus shipping. Awesome service!

Also, for those who own a older unit or purchase a used one and you want it to function like new, you can send it in and have them clean it and change any worn out parts.

This really helps to make your marks look bright and clear. You can also buy the kit and do it yourself but for the cost i would just send it in. I think its around $50 bucks but don't hold me to it. Just give the service department a call. www.vexilar.com (http://www.vexilar.com)

David...Glad to hear this about your unit being fixed so quickly...I also have found that vexilar has a top rated service dept. thru my own research and other experiences....They are real work horses and very reliable......I'm fishing a HD22 this season and as they only shipped them out so late last ice season....that mine was purchased when they finally were shipped and I only got to put about less than 10 hours on it....before last seasons ice, came to a quick halt....So it's still almost like brand new and I'm itchin to get it back out on that "hardwater" as are so many others. Hope to get to share some ice time with you this season............jON sR.

I also have the 22 and it is a awesome unit.

I still have a lot of playing with the features to learn how to effectively use them under different fishing scenarios.

i have the fl18 & use it all year long. it works great fishing jigging rapalas in trees for crappies, dock fishing & i even use it on erie perch on calm days vertical jigging eyes or perch. have had it for at least 8 years & haven't had any problems yet.
