walleyes are starting to be caught from lakeside pier & catawba. not hot & heavy yet but the bite has started. water temp. off of marblehead is 47 deg. so it shouldn't be much longer.

Buddy of mine from work who is also registered here has parents that live up at Put-In and they have also been catching them from shore up there with some big fish coming right at dark.  Again, I wish I lived closer because I would be up there trying almost nightly.

I have been a couple times, not great but a few fish have been caught!
