Title: Frabill gear sled--anyone see/have one?
Post by: slabslayer on November 14, 2011, 06:20:15 AM
This year Frabill has a new gear sled out.  Can hold 8 rods/reels, has a compartment for a bucket, also for tip-ups, electronics, and a small shallow compartment for bait/pliers, etc.  All the compartments have locking lids to keep snow/ice out of your gear.  I saw one at Gander Mountain this weekend and I think it looks awesome.  All my stuff is always all over the shanty floor.  It's small enough it can be pulled by itself or put on top of your shanty and towed out to the spot.  Can check it out on Frabill's website under new ice gear.  Think I'm going to get one next weekend after I get paid.  Anybody have one already?  Any + or - feedback??

Its not a bad stab at something that I have been playing with in my mind for many years by one of the larger companies.I put something up over on my blog about it awhile back. The link is below. I don't think the unit is has heavy has they say it is on the website. I am just going by lifting the unit up on the floor at cabelas.
