Title: Ardis quick digger 60g

Ive had this auger in the barn forever (ardis quick digger 60g) and have been trying to get it going. Its pretty much ancient but I ve read online that people are still using them. My great grandparents used it in wisconsin and it worked great. My problem is it wont get a spark and im sure if i can get it to it will start right up. Any input? anyone ever heard of one of these?

coil might be bad, I dont really know what a coil is but I rented a spliiter last week and it wouldn't start and the rental place said it wasn't getting spark and the coil was out

You should also check the plug and wire. If the wire is old it could be corroded and or broke inside the casing. The plug could also be bad. I would take the plug and wire to the parts store and see if they can match up the parts for you.
