Title: Santa's goodies ?

What did you get in the way of ice fishing stuff? I can't complain even though I didn't get equipment. I got money and gift cards so I can get what I need!! Like a new pair of warm boots and some ice jigs, etc. How about you??

Merry Christmas to all. My wife got me a Marmish Max Rod and some jigs from marmish. I must admit that the rod is TINY. It feels a little weird and small in my hands compared to a 27 inch combo. I dont think that it will work to well with my Jaw Jackers though. ;DThe spring bobber is sweet. It is almost like a piece of 35 mm film. It is supper sensitive and easily adjustable. Ive already rigged it up with some 2lb. McCoy line and tried it in the fish tank and could easily could see the tiny fish just bumping the jig on the spring bobber. The jigs are just as cool. They are the maggot #1 jigs. They are supper detailed and look almost like a real maggot threaded on the hook. I m very excited to get these on the ice and try them out. I love trying out different things on the ice that I have never done. Each thing that you try and learn over time will make you an even better fisherman. The better you are the more food you can put on the table and I love to eat, lol.

I'm ready to go to Bass Pro I got two gift cards, :) I also got a minnow mizer and Three Rapalas and two Arborgast. lures. Can't ice fish might as well go buy something to ice fish with when we finally do get safe ice Lol. :'(

My lovely woman got me a Frabill Trekker II for x-mas. I must of been really good this year. ;D

I got an Artic Armor jacket and bibs. I don't see exactly how they would float but they are supposed to. Hopefully I won't have to find out the hard way. I may take it out next summer to see if it will like it says.

;D two True Blue Reels, I do not know who put it in thiers heads but thats what they gave me. It will be rough to replace the shakespeares tho.

Well no Ice. But the wife tried out her new Vexilar coat the day after Christmas fishing at MoundWood. Didin't catch anything but lost another Vibie. Saw a few caught at the Spillway about 200yds down stream.
