Cool. Fish still eat. I think Sunday we are putting the boat in and going catching. I will let you know how we do. Good luck.

Fished spillway tonight, 1 eye, 1 shad, 2 suckers, and lost quite a few snagged fish at the bank. Water is low but they are in there.

Crv, what are you normally using when you fish below the spillways. I think im going to hit berlin or mosquito's spillways in the next few days. Any tip would help. Thanks

What Russ said, if the water is shallow try rouges or rapala floaters, I've heard of guys using vibes on some local waters. I always put a chub on the bottom next to me while casting with another pole. I picked up a bunch of x-raps a while back thinking of trying them this year, the cost on them are high and will bring a tear when I snag em on a rock.

Another lil tip that really ads to my catch, I only use 8lb fireline on my rods, you can really feel the differnce  between rocks and fish. I always set the hook when I'm not sure, this seems to add to my catch also.

Thanks guys. I bought a bunch chineese rapala knockoffs for .25 a piece a few years ago and have never used them. I wont be to sad if I loose a few of those. I just poured a bunch of jigs also so I will try them with twisters also. what color and sizes of twisters do you think works best?

Depends on water clarity, and area but my go too colors for jig and twister is orange head chartruse tail and chartruse head with white body.
