looks like it might finally be here, winter that is, hopefully by tuesday i'll be on indian after some good eating panfish.

Got the gear ready once again, keeping my fingers crossed for Tuesday. If the winds would die down it would make ice all day. If nothing else the protected areas should be good by then. 3 to 4" is all I need, I'll send Dave out first, if he doesn't go through I'll feel pretty safe. ;)

I think the same thing, by Tuesday should hit some protected areas. Maybe some small ponds by Monday....maybe.

Just tie a good long rope on Dave!! We don't want to lose anyone!! I can't get out til next weekend, hope to fish somewhere then!! Good luck!!! Hope this lasts for awhile!! We're overdue!! ;D

They send me out first each year?
Doesn't that mean i should be able to fish there holes?

You may have a point. The person who goes out first does deserves something. Cant take all the risk without reward. But hole stealing is a felony in at least 17 states. Its a tough call on this one.

Just looked at the 10 day forecast. Starting from today(Sat.): 25,34,42,53,26,35,43,45,50, and 44 >:( Checked some ponds and the wind's kept them from skimming over :o This really stinks!! :(

Yes it is no looking good at all...! The wind really kept things from firming up. CJ is ice free and lake Erie from the Toledo cam does not even look close yet. I am not sure it's going to happen this year >:( Be very careful... I hear some guys are going out Monday. A fish is not worth your life...!
