...While gazing at the shanty in the garage, I gave some very serious thought to putting away the ice shanty,... but decided to go inside, have a beer and get my head straight!

We are only half way thru winter. I am starting to lose faith myself but I will never lose enough to give up on the season yet. I will not put my gear away until april.

Took the ice fishing stuff out of the truck and grabbed a couple of soft water outfits and went to a pond for a couple of hours. The ponds are all high from the rain and the wind was blowing pretty good. No fish. But sun, fresh air, and exercise!! It was in the 60's!!!!! :o
