Title: This winter can't get it right

This weather sucks!  Either it's warm and rainy, or the cold sets in and we get 6 inches of snow!  Either way, can't build ice.  Doubt I'll see any ice this season.  Doubting even a pond tomorrow with all the snow.  If we can't fish, this winter, or lack thereof, needs to go away!!

Up around Akron/Canton.  We got pounded.  Yesterday afternoon there was a 25 car pile-up on I-76 just east of Akron because of snow.  Some areas up here got 10 inches.  It came off the lake since it's not frozen up.

We were at the Meyers Lake Sportsmans Buffalo Dinner last night griping about the lousy ice fishing.  We all agreed that if there is to be no ice, might as well open up and start the boats for the Crappie and Walleye bite.  It's usually around March when we start hooking into the walleye spawn if I can remember?

Which Meyers lake are you talking about?  I thought no one could fish the one in Canton unless you lived on the lake?  I got a day pass one time because I worked on a house there and I mean to tell you the bass fishing was outstanding!  I tried to pay my way on there again, and they wouldn't let me.

Yep, that's the one.  The Buffalo Dinner was at the Canton Civic Center.

In my Driveway!!! Well not anymore, I snow blowed it all. Johnny, you are out west, further east we got 4-6 inches saturday and sunday.

Minnowhead, is there any way to get on there and fish again?  If I can't bring my boat, can I rent one?

Wow I need to come over there and whip out the snowmobile. I wish we got lake effect :(
