Title: Sad To See
Post by: slabslayer on February 15, 2012, 08:19:50 PM
Was looking thru the site in between chats.  Noticed something very sad.  :'(  No online tournament boards full of fish, no lake boards busting with ice reports, no pictures of fresh catches (unless you went north).  Just hoping the softwater season makes up for the lack of ice fishing season.  Mother nature owes us one if you ask me!!

Slab, I couldn't agree any more. I feel mother nature owes me big time. Last year for ice fishing, I got out once with no luck. I took a week of vacation so I could get out on the ice. It rained that whole week and killed the rest of the season.
Then I get all geared up for the walleye run. The fish came, and the water got high. Despite getting on the water about 20 times, I cought no fish not even a bite.
Now, this winter our ice fishing season is a bust. I'm ready for prime conditions and a freezer full of fish.
