Well i had a great day of fishing yesterday. Maybe my best ever.
I took my 9 year old below the dam in the spill way. We set up out chairs on the walk way. I put on a Jammin Jig and minnow on a bobber for him and he had a bite on the first cast. He missed him but caught one 5 minutes later. His first Saugeye ever that he hooked himself.
He caught 2 more and I caught 2 on a Vibe.
He was so excited and kept saying "Dad, I had a great time". His eye's were all lit up.
It was the best day that I have ever had fishing.

way to go dave. glad your son caught fish. it's a memory you will both keep for many years.
