Title: Bought my first kayak today

Well I finally waited and saved some of my pennies and and found a good sale on a kayak at dunham sports paid $229 for a Pelican Ultimate 100 and got a paddle on sale for $30 it retails for $60 I can't wait to get it on the water and go fishing. Anyone been out in their kayak's yet?

I'm too fat for a kyak, thats why my boats have engines! LOL!

They make some that can hold over 350 lbs mine on the other hand holds 275 so I gotta shed a few lbs so I don't sink when I put my gear in.

HAHAHA!!! Well I'm still 20 lbs under your kayaks gross weight rating so thats a good thing!

I think you will love it.
I belly boat at hoover and use my vex and ice gear. Its just like ice fishing. You should be able to mount your vex right to the kayak if you have one.
