Got 6 saugeye sunday all caught on twister tails yellow chartruese at the donut shop also guys catching them on jerk baits at moundwood all fish caught 2hrs before dark

Were they pretty decent sized firefish? I heard they had been hitting pretty well back at the beginning of the month. Stiry of my life though, always no time or hear about the bite too late.
On the plus side, I have gotten the shanty out and blew the dust off that accumulated the last two years. A new Vex FL-20 itching to hit the hard water. Come on ice! Hope to see ya out there on the lakes this season.
