I have never targeted these fish before while ice fishing, and i am planning on going to alum tomorrow for the event. what does everyone recommend for Jigs? equipment? Thanks

I like vib-e or jiggin raps.  I use a Jason Mitchell 36" walleye rod with 10lb line.

I like the Do-Jiggers but tough to get ahold of.  Vibe-e's are always a good alternate

I would have to agree with banker. I love the slender spoons and I also use the salmon chubby darter and the Lindy darters. Vibes also work well. It all depends on the day. Just take all of them and keep changing up till they hit but you really can't beat the slender spoon. I believe James Holst did a video on them last season. It is a very good watch and is what convinced me to buy them. I will post a link when I get home and can get on my laptop
