Well we finally got some ice in the channels and it won't be long before I am out there drilling and testing so you guys get ready

Sometimes I wonder why ....why........why....and want to move to lake of th woods, MN...heard the weather up there is nice!

this is copeland.......keep my number close at hand. I will check our local lake tomorrow. Water temp was still 36 degrees yesterday with nothing in the channels. A couple more nights of teen weather could drop it enough to set the freezing process in motion. The iceman will appear this year ;D

Reports are that the lake has some nice clear ice on it. <aybe this Sunday or Monday. Keep us posted everyone.

Yes do keep this updated please!!! Im hoping that i'll be makin a trip on wed. Any and all info is appreciated, as it is about a 45min to an hour for me, worth it to make up for the lack of ice last year

it's about time. I missed the two day ice last year and I'm starving to yank a few eyes out of a hole...... :o

I talked to Dan earlier and he said a guy had gone through! Only a couple of feet deep, but still a rather cold foot soaking.
If you're thinking about coming up tomorrow, I'd strongly weigh my options. There is a dock tournament at Alum that will offer a safer alternative.
If you insist on hitting Indian, make sure you exercise extreme caution. Have a back up plan in just in case.
I will not be on Indian tomorrow.

so with the snow forecasted for tonight and tomorrow do you think it will be fishable by next wed? forecast looks good but dont know how th esnow will affect it

As Ryan said I went over and found some good clear ice but only a few inches then I wake up this morning and I see we got another3 inches on the ground so I will keep an eye on it and post when I can if you need an ice report you can call me on my cell 937 538 8081 thanks Dan
