You will definately have luck, the real question is; will it be good luck or bad luck! Stay on top and best of luck hooking up with an 'eye or two.

Hopefully the ice will be on good by then. I was thinking about taking a few days off this week and going up but may just wait till the ice is a little better than it is now.

I fished blackhawk today and manage to hook up with CRV towards the end of the day. IF YOU GO, THE ICE IS NOT THAT GREAT. I did manage to go to Lucy's hole but I did the buddy system and we had spud bar, hand spikes and rope. YOU CANNOT WALK ACROSS THE CHANNEL FROM THE POINT OF BLACKHACK. That is where guys have fallen through, 1 kid went in by the boat ramp, again the ice is spotty 3-5 and other places less than 2 inches. I will let CRV give you the fishing report , as for the rest of the lake, Long Island, nobody was there at 7am, moundwood, cranberries, o'conners , northfork, only a fool would walk out on it, spud bar went through with 1 punch. I've been icefishing Indy since the 80's and from what I see, we wont be fishing long island o'conners and many other places in the near future, parking is going to be a thing of the past. I noticed a few more places posted no parking .I wont rant about the idiots who ruined it by leaving trash behind, but it's only a matter of time when the only parking will be at state parks.
