Post by: crv423 on January 03, 2013, 08:39:35 PM: Fished indian today on 3.5 to 5 inches of ice. The ice under snow was only 2" ( stay far away from snowy area) talked to a guy who said in the past 2 days he saw 4 guys go through. Fishn was decent caught 2 gills 2 white bass 5 shad and 2 eyes, lost 2 nice eyes at the hole and missed a dozen good bites. eyes were caught in 5.5ft of water on pimples and raps fished with minnow head, caught fish and had quite a few hits on jaw jackers with jig and minnow. Seemed to me the fish didn't want alot of action.
