I drove around the lake today and it was a sad sight. 99 percent of the lake is open water. The lake was choppy so we need the winds to die down to help out this cold weather we are starting to get. Hopefully the temps will be colder then what they are predicting or it will be a while before we can get back on.

Couple of weeks and the lakes will be ready for fishing till the end of Feb. 8)

wow havent been over there in a few days, thnks for the news :P kinda bums me out hafta start all over again.. :-\ now alot of thought on where to go sat.. i must fish somewhere or i will loose my marbles....got any ideas ???

My best idea now would be hit a spillway. The areas below dams are producing nice crappie and saugeye now.
