The fishin continues to be good! Fished CLR sunday from 9-3 kept 21 nice ones, 2 close to 9 inches . water 5 ft , 4 lb line , white pinman # 12 , waxworms Ice 4 inches. Best bite is really right before dark but if you are QUIET and use light rigs they can be had all day.

We used to catch nice ones years ago,and I here talk catfish have ruined the lake. This year I have caught nice fish all 4 times out. If fish size run in cycles the good old days appear to be back!

Well im glad to hear that i am not the only one who feels that our odnr catfish stocking policy may be to aggressive, after all a catfish is predatory and have few natural enemies so there survival rate seems much higher.

Agreed. The bluegill need to be left alone, and so do the weeds on Mogadore. When the weeds died off, the bluegill fishing went downhill!

i agree i have fished that lake since 1968 and the weeds made that a very good place..and yes we dont need catfish in our lakes or carp...they eat anything.. :P but there are still good fish there ;D
