Well it was not the best ice but ice is 2 to 2 1/2 inches at the first pull off at long island the ise is clear so it was strong enough to fish there was 10 guys there at one time and fish were scattered I did catch a 14 1/2 inch crappie pics are on the tournament page

Way to go Dan! That's a great fish, congrats! ;D Nothing like a monster slab on the ice.

I thought about coming up. But I need more ice for my fat hindend
