Title: What a weekend

Just feeling depressed about the weekend and need to vent a little. Got the stomach flu and was puking Friday night, couldn't get off the toilet Saturday. Now today rolls around and got the call to plow snow this morning. Thought I'd do my route and go hit some ice. WRONG!! Pulled up to my first plow and my truck died and its still there until tomorrow morning. Never got to even see a frozen body of water; such a crappie, pun intended, weekend. Never got a lure wet all weekend, and I had big plans and it was made worse when futurestrader called me and said they were going out fishing on 8 inches of ice while I was stuck at home watching my Red Wings lose again! :'( >:(

Well taking four kids out ice fishing is a project but they had fun! At one point my five year old has hooked his jacket, the other has hooked her boot and the other has a birds nest on his reel. I just laughed out loud as my son came in the shanty and took the vex out of my hole. Guess he likes video games. Take a kid fishing but take four and your in for a show

Sounds like you had a busy day, hope the kids had fun!! That's what is all about, helping pass on our great sport. Glad you all were able to get out! Wish I could've joined you! ;D
