But right now panfish chase baitfish and come into this huge flat to warm up I was there today and saw so many crappie hitting bugs on topwater from the flooded banks that I had to post about this amazing area at this time of year..did I catch em...no, why would they want to eat my bait when there was so much free dying bait around them...banks are up big time with the rain we got--despite the cold front- panfish are feeding on the bugs the flooding has brought them....great time if you are a fly fisherman
