Title: Open Country Tumble Drum
Post by: swedish nipple on January 12, 2014, 10:57:04 PM
Got to try my buddies open country tumble drum fish scaler tonight. WOw does it do a great job. Threw 30 gills in there for 20 minutes pulled them out checked them, not one scale on any of them. Anyone who likes to scale their fish instead of skinning them absolutely needs to get one of these. Fished at Spencer today will post a report there.

Nice idea. I also enjoyed eating fish with ths skin on, but hated the flying scales all over the place. 'm definitely going to give it some serious thought.

I didnt find a single scale on the 30 gills we did.
For $250 bucks you can sit and drink beer while the fish spin.
We let them spin for 20 mins all the scales end up in the bottom of the plastic tub. dump them out and rinse it off.
