I tried New London Saturday 3/1.  The ice was beautiful..could've ice skated on it. Had a slow day fishing - started at 8:00AM and quit at 1:30.  Caught 2 small perch and a 9" Rock Bass on wax worms.  Talked to one guy who caught 6 small mouth bass using minnows.

Hey ashland i think i met you at the ramp that morning. I wishin fishin solo that day ,green ford,black frabil shanty.I fished 8 to 5 all in all a good day. I setup on a stump that usually produces a mixed bag of fish. That day the smallmouth were very active.
