Another weird day of fishing. Started with the ice storm and was pleasantly surprised that 10 guys made it. 4 from the Akron Canton Area. You guys are dedicated.!
Again, the Crappie were non existent but the Saugeye were biting!
Congrats to Larry Davis for winning with a nice 3.15 lb Saugeye. He said he broke a bigger one off.
First Time participant Shawn took second place with a nice 2.45 lb Saugeye and his drive from Akron was worth the drive.
Great Job Guy's!
We will be fishing Saturday Thanksgiving weekend so if your sick of the relatives than come on out or even better bring someone with you.

Maybe it's time for me to quit chasing the crappie. But the gills taste good also. See you Saturday.

Hey Quack, I looked for crappies hard after seeing Larry catch an eye bigger then either of my keepers, nothing... nada.... but I did get about a dozen pretty good keeper gills though...LOL so they are still around.. just finicky on the bite the last two weeks.
