I've fished out of Catawba but does mouse island or marble head have safe ice? I never hear of anyone going out of Marblehead.

Too much current ripping around there.  The ice is never safe. Just go out out Catawba and follow the path

Not even the great and very talented, and experienced fishingsam would try mouse island area. You see, it's a death trap, a suicide rap. If you're there now....... you better get out while you're young, because ....... well it's just NOT the place to be born to run and gun. Understand ?
