Title: Clear Fork of the Mohican River 5/1/15
Post by: slabslayer on May 01, 2015, 01:02:02 PM
Hit the river for a little fly fishing before the surgery and lasted 2 hours before it hurt too bad to continue. Hit the area near the coveted bridge. Got 6 trout, 8-14 inches.  All came on a gold cone head streamer I tied last fall. I'd post pics of fly and trout if I was able.

Nice Slab, my old stomping grounds. Grew up down that way. We use to park one car at the covered bridge and one down on rt 3. Nice wading, nice holes and plenty of smallest. Thanks for bringing back memories.
