Well fellow ice men here is a list of the tentative dates for this season's tournament trail. Let me know what you think!
Wingfoot lake- Sunday January 24th. Sponsored by Mogadore bait and tackle.
Portage lakes- Sunday January 31st. Sponsored by long lake baits
Nimisila reservoir- Sunday February 7th. Sponsored by long lake baits
Mosquito reservoir Sunday February 21st sponsored by causeway sporting goods
Mogadore reservoir - Sunday February 28th (championship ) sponsored by MOGADORE BAIT AND TACKLE
-
And remember that these dates are tentative and subject to change. Safety is always number 1 and ice condition found to be unsafe can postpone or cancel the tournament. Thanks for your support and any input you have on this tournament series, I welcome any and all suggestions! Thanks.

I meant to ask and forgot, which lake will the portage lakes event "launch" from?
-
Do you do any tournaments that are not ice fishing tournaments?
-
I just put these dates on my calendar, bring on the ice.
-
Are these lakes walk out lakes? Could I enter the tourney and walk out onto the ice?
-
Yep,there are all public access lakes, well within walking distance to your favorite fishing hole.
-
Downthehole if you come to a dock tournament we can discuss it there. Nate comes down so you could talk to him directly. I go and make donations there also.

What kind of turnout do you usually get at the dock tournaments? Is there plenty of dock space so everyone is not on top of each other?
-
If your talking about the alum creek dock tournament, the turn out varies, there is plenty of dock space and plenty of fun for everyone!
-
Is it required to use ice fishing rod, or any rod as long as only verticals presentation?
