Title: Battery tender
Post by: 1BigIcehole on November 13, 2015, 07:52:52 AM
Just wondering what everyone uses for maintaining their 12v and 6v batteries?
Looking to get one unit that will charge and maintain both 6v and 12v, and one I can leave on battery without worrying about over charging the battery.
Can one of these units be found in a local store (Lowes) or is it something I need to get online?

Thanks

I'm not sure about six volt ones but for my vex and camera 12volt ones I made a cord for my truck that plugs into the power lighter plug. I haven't started using it for this season yet.

You should be able to find an automatic trickle charger that would charge 12 volt batteries and may do 6 volt batteries as well. I am not sure what type batteries you are talking about, car or electronic batteries. My Vex battery came with a charger so that is what I use.

G, This charger would be for my Vex and corn feeder(6v) batteries.
