While bluegill fishing is great fun, I have to say I'm primarily a walleye guy.  Nothing better than hours old fillets on the dinner plate!!!!!

Soft water I'm a bass guy hands down. But when ice hits, it's all about pan fish. Crappie mostly, but I love gills if I can find nice ones. I will enjoy the occasional walleye trip too.

Gotta say I love those walleyes, nothing like the thrill of the hunt and seeing those teeth coming through the hole. And also what a delicious table fair.

Crappies. Love to fish eyes too but can't beat watching big slabs come through the hole one after another ;D

Perch would be my first pick as long as I can find them.  Anything that swims is fine by me. Crappie and walleye would be a close second.  Sight fishing for pike is a great adrenaline rush, but pike waters are limited in Ohio.

Crappie, just need to figure out how to catch them. I seem to be catching more white bass and perch at the dock tourneys.....

It is a hideous looking thing. I caught my first one a couple of weeks ago at Alum. I flopped it on the dock and checked it for fangs before I touched it. Lol. Won't let me load the picture

I have caught mudpuppies in Lake Erie and a lake in Michigan.  Had a pike with one in its stomach.

Please don,t kill or harm them if you catch them.  They are beneficial to the ecosystem although they are not very easy on the eyes, kind of like me!
