Hopefully the long term is wrong. We had lots in the teens for a prolonged period, now that period is shorter and warmer with a forecast of temps around 50 by the end of February. Hope that's wrong or we may only get another week or 2 this year. But anything is better than nothing.

Never thought I'd be hoping for Arctic blasts or nor'easters.....but I am....

Hope the forecasts are wrong like usual. Knowing our luck, they will be accurate for a change. Hope we get 1 or 2 more weeks of fishable ice. Didn't get out enough to satisfy me.

Come on arctic blast, only six times so far.

Just started getting back into it the last couple years. Got the bug and can't get out!

I know. I'm hooked with no way to get the monkey of my back.

Unfortunately it is not looking good for more ice. I just wish it would either stay warm or cold. I would rather it get cold since I would rather icefish. I guess I feel lucky getting out 6 times this year. Guess we will have to deal with what we get.
