Title: Green Fire Dept. Ice Resue training

Watched Green training ice rescue today.....ice was less than 2 inches.  I got a real education on how dangerous falling in is.  One young fireman couldn't pull himself out onto to ice even with ice picks.   So I know as old as I am I'd be in real trouble......it was really spooky watching the ice roll like a water bed......

Good to know they are there and trained,if the need arises,falling through no fun,been there done that,not lately anyhow,stepped through a few times though. :) ;) :D

I have watched ice rescue practice before, those guys are awesome ,  ;D   and even a few wet adventures myself ,  :P

That rolling ice I seen once,BEHIND us on a 4 whlr RACING back to PIB.
The next morning ice was all but gone.
